The rowing boat is on a trailer. If you do not want to row, you can rent a 6 HP boat engine for DKK 1, 000.00 per week and for DKK 1, 500.00 for 2 weeks. The engine is ordered upon arrival at the house. Visit Hjerl Hede, known for its open-air museum. There are working workshops here, and people dressed in old clothes populate the old village. The museum's more than 40 buildings show the development of the Danish village from the 1500s up to the 1900s - with a smithy, inn, mills, school, vicarage, dairy, grocery store, farms and much more. If you are interested in medieval history, there is the opportunity to visit the medieval castle Spøttrup Borg. At the nearby Dalsgaard Antik, the farmhouse and former farm building have been converted into exhibitions, including a grocery museum, and the sale of a large selection of furniture, porcelain, glass, books and handicrafts.A refundable deposit might be charged closer to your check-in date.
