The flat is located in Fosano above Vira Gambarogno and is on the opposite side of the lake (Lake Maggiore) from Locarno and Ascona. The flat is easily accessible by public transport, the bus stop is only 150 metres away.

The view extends over Lake Maggiore to the towns of Locarno, Ascona, Brissago, Versasca Valley, Maggia Valley and the Magadino plain. The Carona swimming pool above Lugano is one of the most beautiful swimming pools in Switzerland.

Excursion possibilities: Locarno, Ascona, weekly market in Luino, castles and palaces in Bellinzona, Brissago Islands, magnificent valleys and gorges, Versasca Valley, Maggia Valley, Onsernone Valley, Swiss Miniature, chocolate museum, falcon show, Magliaso Zoo, go-kart track, botanical gardens. Italy is very close by boat or car.
