Holiday chalet the "Uylennest" is 48 m2 in size. Your chalet is located on a plot of 2300 M2, situated between the historic towns of Hoorn and Enkhuizen, and 4 km from the IJsselmeer where the whole family can swim, play sports or relax.... You can park your car and/or boat on our own property, or in our shed if you wish.

Your chalet has access to 1 bedroom with a double bed (2x1.80 mtr.) and a bedroom with a double bunk bed (2x0.08 mtr.) The room/kitchen is equipped with kitchenware, an oven, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and kettle. Shower and toilet. The chalet is also equipped with a washing machine.

Your chalet has a covered verande and you have access to a ruined terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. The 2300m2 garden has footpaths and atmospheric garden lighting, which lead you along the 4 themes. Naturally, there are several seating areas and a terrace by our pond in which numerous goldfish swim. The plot is enclosed by a hedge of conifers, so small children can play in the grass. Furthermore, our accommodation is surrounded by fruit gardens. The pink flowers in spring are a beautiful sight, while a little further on lambs frolic happily in the meadow.

Hem is located in West Friesland, an area between the towns of Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Medemblik and Alkmaar, in North Holland. The centre of the village of Hem is 3 km from your chalet. There is a supermarket, chemist, café/restaurant, petrol station and ATM. The IJsselmeer is 4 km away. Here you can enjoy swimming, sailing, surfing or water sports. You should definitely visit the historic towns of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. There are cosy terraces everywhere and at the old harbour you can enjoy the many sailing ships that moor here.
