The dream of a cottage by the lake awaits you here in the heart of Sörmland, in Solvik. The cottage, which has been renovated while preserving its original charm, is beautifully situated on elevated ground with a lovely view overlooking Lake Trynen, which stretches southward and offers wonderful places to explore. The entrance door opens into a hallway with space for coats and shoes, leading into a large living room with a cozy open fireplace, a snug sofa corner that transforms into a comfortable bed for two at night, and a dining area that seats many. There is a sleeping alcove with a custom-built bunk bed. The kitchen is charming and fresh, equipped with a fridge and freezer, a small stove with two burners and an oven, and a small dining area. Cooking and washing up become a joy with the view over the lake. On the lake side of the cottage, there is an exit to the outdoor patio, which naturally becomes the perfect spot for meals and relaxation. In the guest house, you'll find the cottage’s toilet – an incinerating toilet – as well as a sink and shower. The guest house accommodates three people with a sofa bed and a single bed. Out by the traditional outhouse, which is freely available for use, you'll also find the cottage’s firewood storage. The area around Solvik offers plenty during the summer – from flea markets and a glassworks studio to forest hikes and walking trails. Put on your bathrobe and start your day with a dip in the lake. The town offers a wide range of shops, dining options, and attractions throughout the year, making it an attractive destination in both high and low seasons.
