From Cologne, take the A 1 towards Euskirchen to the end of the motorway at the Blankenheim exit. Then drive through Blankenheim and follow the road for about 10 minutes until you reach Ahrhütte. The house was built in 1677 as an administrative building for the former ironworks. It belonged to the territory of the Dukes of Arenberg.
