These are just a few steps away from the house and offer a wonderful setting to spend cosy and relaxing hours. The municipal botanical hiking trail starts right outside the front door, which not only provides information about Corsica's diverse flora, but also leads past historical monuments and picturesque villages.The Castagniccia region, known for its dense chestnut forests, offers countless hiking trails through breathtaking landscapes to abandoned villages, waterfalls and mills, up to altitudes of around 1800 metres. Not only the mountains, but also the coast with its long sandy beaches, excellent shopping facilities and first-class tourist infrastructure can be reached in just 20 minutes by car.
