Holidays in a listed building combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the foundation Ferien im Baudenkmal (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society.Public transport: Every 10 minutes: Bus 201 from Montreux or Villeneuve, bus stop "Bonivard". Walk up Rue Bonivard to the 1st square with a fountain. Once an hour: S3 train from Montreux or Villeneuve, "Veytaux-Chillon" stop.
