Vacation in architectural monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the foundation Vacation in architectural monument (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society.Car park: The car park is right next to the house and is not covered. The house can accommodate six guests (plus baby). There is one double room and one four-bed room available. The large living/dining room/kitchen opens out onto a terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding meadows and woods. In the large bedroom, a sofa can be converted into a very comfortable double bed if required. The bathroom with shower and toilet offers modern comfort. The floors are made of wood, which is why we recommend good slippers.
